LetMeRepair takes over the after sales service specialist “Euro Point Communication GmbH", a daughter of the insolvent Com-Base Group

  • LetMeRepair takes over 41 Staff and 8 apprentices from the insolvent Euro Point Communication GmbH and 6 apprentices from the insolvent CS Communication Service GmbH.

Bautzen/Karlstein, 17. July 2009 – LetMeRepair has taken over the assets, 55 Staff and apprentices from the insolvent Euro Point Communication GmbH (EPC). The contract for the takeover have been negotiated with the insolvency administrator, Tobias Hoefer from Kanzlei Hack | Hoefer and Karl Dominick, managing director of LetMeRepair Europe. „In LetMeRepair we have found a partner who can offer the staff and apprentices a long term employment and secure environment” said Tobias Hoefer after signing the contract with LetMeRepair.

„The staff is highly qualified and motivated. Their profile and experience fits perfectly to our organisation whilst further developing our competence and mission to offer trainees and apprentices a solid education,” said Karl Dominick. A positive note is that the majority of the key customers have not lost trust in the organisation and have not moved their business elsewhere.

The LetMeRepair group has its EMEA Headquarter, and the largest European repair centre, in Bautzen Germany and manages a second repair centre in Grosswallstadt, roughly 20km from Karlstein. LetMeRepair offers Call Centre, Logistic and Repair Services related to the product life cycles of electronic, consumer and IT related equipment in repair centres located in France, United Kingdom, Sweden, Poland, South Africa and Namibia. LetMeRepair employs more than 700 staff in 10 repair locations throughout Europe and Africa. The customer base includes all the major electronic brands and manufacturers of consumer and IT related products.
