Technical Support Call Centre Agent

purpose of the job:

To provide excellent Technical Support and customer service to each customer contact

responsibilities:

  • to ensure quick, accurate and efficient diagnosing of fault and logging of call
  • to maintain quality agreed benchmarks

competencies:

  • delivering results & meeting customer expectations
  • ability to work independently
  • coping with pressure
  • flexible and willing to work in a team and if required willing to work longer hours
  • 100% focused and dedicated to customer satisfaction
  • proactive in keeping the customer informed
  • must have good telephone soft skills and completely fluent in English and Afrikaans

experience:

  • 3 years hardware break fix experience on HP PSG (laptops) products

education:

  • minimum grade 12 or equivalent NQF qualification
  • relevant technical / electronics qualification
  • A+ would be a definite advantage in securing this position
