LetMeRepair acquires SIETek Communications
LetMeRepair is pleased to announce that on 1st of August 2009 we will acquire the entire asset base of SIETek Communications based in Cape Town, South Africa.
SIETek brings 15 years of experience of level 1 to 3 repairs of Dect Cordless and GSM mobile phones to the LetMeRepair Brand. The SIETek expertise will be utilized to develop and expand the footprint of LetMeRepair in South Africa, which will further complement the product portfolio and regional coverage of the existing LetMeRepair locations in MEA. SIETek will be utilized to develop and expand the footprint of LetMeRepair in South Africa to serve both as an additional bench operation as well as to facilitate the On-site contracts held by LetMeRepair. In return, LetMeRepair will strengthen the infrastructure of the business bringing onboard the Sony Ericsson warranty account as well as introduce the whole unit repair of Notebook, Monitor, Imaging, Printer, Projector and LCD TV repair whilst establishing quality and transparent reporting via our internally designed and programmed CRM system OPAL.
The premises will be expanded into the adjacent building to facilitate the growth plans and addition product range repair. The acquisition of SIETek Communications is of a strategic nature and complements the vision of the directors of the LetMeRepair group to become market leaders within their respective industry.
We are delighted to announce that the shareholders and staff of SIETek Communications will remain in key function in the organization to support the growth plans of South Africa and the MEA territory.
With immediate effect, SIETek Communications will become a wholly owned subsidiary of LetMeRepair. The enlarged entity has become a sustainable force in the telecommunications; IT and consumer Electronics industry within the MEA region. with significant repair volumes and thus will be well positioned to participate and service in any after sales support requirements within these industries.
