LetMeRepair acquires the UK´s leading LCD repair company

LMR Service & Consulting GmbH is pleased to announce that on 25th November 2008 we acquired the entire issued share capital of Flat Panel Solutions Limited.

FPS Ltd brings a wealth of experience on the repair of LCD panels sized up to 47”, utilizing a well established skill set with techniques developed over 15 years in the Flat Panel Display (FPD) sector.

The FPS expertise will be utilized to develop and expand the FPD offering in Germany and South Africa, which will further complement the product portfolio and regional coverage of the existing LetMeRepair locations in EMEA. In return, LetMeRepair will strengthen the infrastructure of the business by introducing the whole unit repair of Notebook, Monitor and LCD TV repair whilst establishing the Glasgow facility as the central repair depot in the United Kingdom.

The purchase of FPS Ltd complements the LetMeRepair group activities providing Level 1 to Level 3 repair such as hotline, carrier management, whole unit repair, SMT and BGA level repair of PCB.

We are delighted to announce that the shareholders of FPS Ltd will remain in key function in the organization to support the growth plans in Flat Panel Display capabilities in Germany and South Africa.

The company, with immediate effect, will trade as LetMeRepair UK Ltd.
